We were first seduced by the aesthetic quality of the Logitech G923 steering wheel. We found its design to be both classy and understated. We liked its leather and aluminum finishes which give it a lot of style and are very pleasant to the sight and touch.

Because we have to admit that the handling of this wheel is excellent. The G923 from Logitech offers very good ergonomics and ease of use. Both the buttons and the paddles are very well placed and very responsive. This makes the game really enjoyable and comfortable, even after a competition of several hours.

In addition, the Logitech G923 steering wheel has a very good quality of manufacture. The materials used for its design such as leather or aluminum are solid and of high quality, which should guarantee this model a good resistance and durability. We do not deny our visual and tactile pleasure thanks to these materials.

What we particularly liked about the G923 from Logitech is its pedalboard. Indeed, once again, the brand has not done things by halves for the pedals and this one is both robust, stable and pleasant. An improvement was even made on this model at the level of the brake which is highly appreciable.

Its disadvantages

We told you what attracted us about the Logitech Logitech G923steering wheel, but our test also revealed its drawbacks. disadvantages.

What disappointed us the most about the Logitech G923 steering wheel is its power feedback that we found certainly powerful, but unfortunately also too abrupt and too dry. In our opinion, the brand made a mistake by keeping the TrueForce technology, which provides sensations that seem to come from another era and are more disturbing than anything else. While testing this model, we discovered that, as with the G29 or the G920, the motorization was jerky, without nuances and that the rendering was therefore not very pleasant.

About the pedalboard of the Logitech G923we found it a pity that the cable is once again located at the back. This makes it difficult to place the pedalboard correctly against a wall, even though this is necessary for many players who do not have a cockpit. It’s time for Logitech to rethink this aspect.

We also find that the price of the Logitech 923 steering wheel does not work in its favor since it is quite high compared to what it has to offer. It’s a good steering wheel, but considering all the models on the market today for 400 €, this one may not be the best value for money or have the most advantages, considering that it doesn’t include a gearshift and its wheel is not interchangeable.

Finally, it should be noted that while the Logitech G923 steering wheel is compatible with the PlayStation 4, it is not compatible with the PlayStation 3. So be careful, if this is the console you have at home, it will unfortunately not work with this model.

Our test of the Logitech 923 steering wheel showed us that this model had many qualities. It’s a steering wheel whose build quality and ergonomics are undeniably very good and whose pedalboard really seduced us.

Unfortunately, the Swiss manufacturer Logitech has chosen once again to keep the same basis as for its previous models, finally making only few improvements. Once again, we find a return of force to the somewhat old technology that does not give us complete satisfaction.

For a steering wheel of this price and supposedly high-end, we would have appreciated a more varied and less rigid feel. At a time when the competition is offering ever more innovative models, it seems to us that the Logitech brand has unfortunately remained stuck a few years behind the times.
