Here is a list of the main features of this model:

For what type of person?

Because of its price, we would tend to consider that the Logitech G920 steering wheel is rather intended for and regular users.. But in our opinion, it can be equally suitable for novice players who want to try racing simulation and can afford it.

The Logitech G920 is a steering wheel that fits all sizes, as both the pedals and the paddles are adjustable and the 28 cm diameter wheel fits bothadult andchildhands.

Its advantages

We could discover, thanks to our test, what are the differences of the G920 compared to its twin brother the G29 and especially, what are the advantages of this model.

First of all, we found the design of the Logitech G920 design of the Logitech G920 steering wheelwhich we consider even more classy than the G29. The manufacturing quality of the wheel and the choice of materials are successful, it gives the wheel a classy and realistic look.

The ergonomics of the steering wheelis also a success. The wheel is easy and pleasant to handle and allows access to many functions thanks to its many buttons whose locations have been thought for optimal comfort and convenience.

Once again, the Logitech brand has the advantage of offering us a good quality-price ratio with the G920 model. This is a steering wheel with excellent build quality. For leather lovers, they will be delighted. This is a change from the rubber used by all the competitors on the market and it shows that the quality of this model is placed at the top of the range.

For us, one of the biggest advantages of the Logitech G920 is its three-pedal pedal board, which really stands out .

It is quite heavy, which allows it to offer great stability during play. It is also very nice to be able to adjust the distance between the pedals. It is really comfortable and allows you to play for long hours without feeling any discomfort.

Unlike many other steering wheels on the market, the Logitech G920 has the advantage of being compatible with the Xbox One, Series X|S and also with the PC. Its installation and configuration is simple, since it is automatically recognized on the Xbox, and as for the PC, the wheel includes a software that is very reliable and intuitive, for optimal and simple settings.

Its disadvantages

Finally, the G920 steering wheelLike its twin brother, the G29, it has little difference from their respective cousin, the G27 model of the brand. And it also includes a number ofdisadvantages.

The first thing that disappointed us about the Logitech G920 is the fact that its force feedback is both abrupt and unbalanced. While its dual-motor system offers a powerful feel, it also clearly lacks smoothness, resulting in dry, noisy movements. We also noticed a problem with the presence of a dead zone that can make the feeling during the race quite contradictory.

We also discovered that the leather stitching on the wheel wheel of the Logitech G920 were rather rough. Moreover, we felt some roughness under the thumbs, which can be quite unpleasant during the race. We recommend the use of gloves if, like us, this sensation bothers you when playing.

Another point of the Logitech G920 steering wheel that we didn’t like is the paddles which are obligatorily mobile. Indeed, there is no mechanism to make them fixed, which we find a bit unfortunate. Some players, like us, still prefer to have a choice and others prefer to keep them in the same position, which is impossible with this model.

Finally, we find that Logitech’s G920 steering wheel has a rather high price for a model that was released in 2015 and does not offer either a gearshift (sold as an option at €59.99) or the possibility to change the wheel. At a base price of €399 offered by the brand, this is not really a model that everyone can afford to buy.

Where to get it and for how much?

You can get the Logitech G920 steering wheel for €399 on the official website of the brand. Currently, you can save some money on its price if you choose to buy the complete equipment: the Logitech G920 steering wheel + the Driving Force Shifter + the G435 headset. The whole is sold for 371,33 €.

It is also available at a much lower price from various retailers, for example on the at the moment.

On sites that sell and buy used items such as Le Bon Coin, you can find the Logitech G920 steering wheel at really great prices. However, be very careful and check the terms of the steering wheel to avoid possible scams.

Following our test of the Logitech G920 steering wheel, we come to more or less the same conclusion as for the G29 model, since they are both practically identical.

Just like its twin brother, the G920 steering wheel is beautiful and offered us comfort and ergonomics during our racing sessions. The build quality and finish of the wheel, as well as its incredible crankset, seem to justify its rather high price.

However, we are disappointed that Logitech did not choose to improve the technology of its steering wheels. The G920’s force feedback is seriously lacking in smoothness and fluidity.

The Logitech G920 steering wheel is still a model that we liked because of its many advantages and that we recommend if you can afford it, you won’t be disappointed.
