The countdown is officially on: the long-awaited Simucube 3 Ultimate will start shipping on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. This was the news that thrilled enthusiasts at the SimRacing Expo in Charlotte, a confirmation made all the more striking by the fact that the base had been listed as “Out of stock” on the Simucube website for several months, fuelling speculation.
This direct-drive base offers the promise of raw power concentrated in a compact package, with its 35 Nm of torque. It is positioned as the flagship of the Finnish manufacturer’s range, above the Sport (15 Nm) and Pro (25 Nm). Clearly, Simucube is targeting the most demanding simracers, those who won’t compromise on feel and precision. This level of force immediately anticipates the need for an ultra-rigidsim-racing cockpit, capable of withstanding feedback without flexing. Forget your desk, this machine is designed for “pro” setups.
To achieve this level of performance, Simucube has integrated a Spoke IPM motor, which the brand describes as the fastest and most responsive ever conceived. Force feedback effects are based on telemetry, promising extra texture and cleaner, faster force transmission for unrivalled detail on the track.
The price reflects this ambition: around $3,299/€. A price that immediately positions the Simucube 3 Ultimate in the high-end, even professional, equipment segment. It’s a substantial investment, but one that reflects Simucube’s advanced engineering to set a new benchmark on the market.

Technology at the service of performance
In addition to the motor, the Simucube 3 Ultimate features the LightBridge system. This in-house technology, already recognized in the Simucube ecosystem, ensures contactless power supply and data transmission, guaranteeing optimum reliability and fluidity. The chassis, recognizable by its black and orange colors, is not just aesthetically pleasing: it is designed to contain the “beast” and stiffen the whole, vital for a base of this power.
A booming market
The announcement of this delivery date, made on the occasion of the SimRacing Expo in Charlotte, which attracted almost 9,000 visitors for its first edition, is a clear indicator of the current dynamism of sim racing. This event has become a preferred venue for premium equipment reveals, confirming the trend of a market increasingly oriented towards sophistication and performance. In fact, the Simucube 3 Ultimate had already been spotted and tested at events on the scene, reinforcing the anticipation surrounding its commercial launch.
Now that the date has been set, the countdown is on. It remains to be seen whether Simucube will live up to its commitments, but one thing’s for sure: 2026 promises to be an exciting year for thrill-seekers and enthusiasts of cutting-edge equipment.
