ClubSport GT3 Endurance: Fanatec’s limited edition unveiled for the centenary of the 24h of Spa

Sim Racer

E-sport driver & Sim Racing enthusiast, I decided to share my passion on this website.

Fanatec is one product after another, and to mark the centenary of the 24 Hours of Spa, the German brand has presented an ultra-limited edition steering wheel for racing fans. It’s the ClubSport GT3 Endurance, and only 100 will be produced, to mark the 100th anniversary of the legendary circuit.

In terms of design, it’s very minimalist, with a gun metal color that’s repeated all over the faceplate. There are closed grips on the sides and the 24 SPA logo in the center, also with the number 100, a nod to the circuit’s centenary. As I said above, the design of this wheel is very minimalist, but uncluttered by the way. Of course, as this is an ultra-limited series, it’s marked “Limited Edition x of 100” to make sure you don’t misunderstand it, and also to add value if you ever want to resell it.

Since we’re dealing with a barebone structure for the ClubSport GT3 Endurance, you’ll need a module that will act as buttons, controls and interface with the Fanatec basics. In our case, the task falls to the Podium Button Module Endurance with its display and various controls and magnetic paddles (optional). It’s a very complete, endurance-focused module, and a perfect match for the ClubSport GT3 Endurance.

The wheel’s rectangular shape is perfect for GT3 and endurance racing. The diameter is just under 32 cm (31.8 cm to be precise), the handles are rubberized and the ergonomics are just about perfect for long sim-racing sessions.

Finally, let’s talk about price and availability. For the price, Fanatec is exchanging the ClubSport GT3 Endurance for just €129.95. However, and I emphasized this above, it’s a rim, or a barebone steering wheel if you prefer. So you’ll need to pay for the button module, paddles, hub and Quick Release, for a total of over €700 to get a usable steering wheel. It’s a lot, but at the same time, it’s a limited edition, and a worthwhile investment if you’re the kind of person who swaps steering wheels quite often.

As far as availability is concerned, the ClubSport GT3 Endurance will go on sale only at the Fanatec stand at Spa from weekend June 27 to 30, 2024. This stand is open to the public in the Fan Village from 10:00 to 12:00, then from 13:30 to 18:00, from Thursday to Saturday. And on Sunday June 30, it’s morning only.
