Next Level Racing is a manufacturer of simulation accessories, particularly cockpits. The Australian brand has been present in the industry for some fifteen years and is considered the Go-To for solid, high-performance chassis that are rather affordable compared to the competition.

This year, NLR announced a brand-new product: the F-GT PRO, a tubular hybrid chassis that adapts to GT, F1 and more or less any other racing discipline.

The F-GT PRO is based on the MonkeyDriver platform, thanks to its acquisition by Next Level Racing, and on a 50mm-diameter tubular steel structure. The result: a breathtaking chassis in terms of design, high adaptability for racers and a lower selling price than the competition.

Thanks to the chassis design, the driver can configure his driving position as he sees fit, whether he’s a fan of Formula with a seat on the ground, GT, rally or touring in general. These driving positions can be changed on the fly thanks to tool-free systems, which should make life a whole lot easier.

Thanks to the MonkeyDriver platform, the seat is integrated into the chassis, which means a leaner purchase price. In terms of design, the F-GT PRO is minimalist and comes in two colors: black and gray. The Direct Drive base deck is rather large, capable of accommodating all those available on the market with a torque of up to 25 nm. This means that high-end setups with Fanatec Podium DD2, Simagic Alpha U and Moza R21 will have no problem with this chassis.

The seat is based on a tubular structure with 4 pads at different points on the seat. Compared with other chassis, seat adjustments are limited on the F-GT PRO, according to reports, and will be mostly related to riding position.

Speaking of settings, both the base and bottom bracket decks are configurable to suit your preferred driving position, whether rally, GT or Formula, and it’s all tool-free, which is really nice.

Let’s finish with the price. The F-GT PRO will be available at €999 in Europe, which is less expensive than the competition, especially for a hybrid chassis. It will be available worldwide from April 2025. This cockpit will also be able to accommodate a keyboard/mouse holder, a screen holder and a shifter and handbrake holder, each priced at €99.

For those who do several sim-racing disciplines at the same time, the F-GT PRO seems to be a very good product, perfectly suited to this kind of need.
