A slider at the top of the unit is all it takes to switch the Conspit CHS from an H-pattern transmission to a sequential transmission. The brand’s first gearshift, it has been on sale for €369.90 since September 23 and runs on a PC. It rounds out a lineup that already included bases, steering wheels, pedals, and a handbrake, meaning drivers can now get all their peripherals from Conspit.
Two gearboxes in the CHS, each with its own shift travel

In H mode, the shifter offers seven gears plus reverse, with a 38-mm travel for 12°. Seventh gear and reverse are locked in place by a trigger located under the shifter knob, which must be pulled before engaging either of these two gears. In both modes, a gear engages at the same point, after a 12-mm travel, or 4.5°.
Sequential mode relies on a short, asymmetrical shift travel—which Conspit calls SnapShift—that is slightly shorter when downshifting than when upshifting. For sequential shifting, Conspit recommends installing the 50-mm extension included with the shifter, which raises the knob height from 255 to 305 mm.
The CHS for PC, along with the rest of the Conspit lineup
The lever connects to the PC via USB-C—the only supported platform—and weighs 2.0 kg. Two brackets included with the lever allow it to be mounted on 40-mm aluminum profile frames.
The CHS is configured in Conspit Link 2.0, the brand’s software, which ties it into the rest of the product line, from the Ares base unit to the CPP EVO 3 pedal set. The Conspit store is currently out of stock, but The French Simracer is accepting pre-orders for €369.90.
Adjustments and window: the CHS reveals its mechanism

The tension can be adjusted from 3 to 10 kg using an Allen wrench, as can the lever’s damping, which can be made softer or firmer. On the side, a transparent window installed as standard reveals the moving parts with each gear shift, and a tinted window included in the box can be used as a replacement.
Nine RGB LEDs are located on the top of the case, where they form a gradient from red to green right next to the mode slider. They function as shift lights or indicate the current gear—a setting that can be configured in Conspit Link 2.0. SimHub can also display other in-game telemetry data there, right next to the hand shifting gears.
