The F1 25 Season 2026 pack will be released on June 3, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Electronic Arts made the content official in an announcement published on May 20, with a pretty clear promise: to bring the current game into the new regulatory era of Formula 1.
This is no mere cosmetic pack. EA is talking about a major update around teams, drivers, cars, rules and a new circuit. For players already on F1 25, the content will take the form of a 2026 Season Pack. For those who don’t yet have the game, an F1 25: 2026 Season Edition will bring together the base game and 2026 content.
Audi, Cadillac and a revised grid

The most visible change concerns the grid. The package adds Cadillac and Audi, two teams that directly alter the balance of the grid. Cadillac arrives as a new American manufacturer, while Audi joins the grid with its own identity.
In My Team, EA also specifies that the player’s personalized team becomes the twelfth team. This is an important detail for career players: the arrival of the new teams is not just a livery update, it also changes the way the grid is structured.
Line-ups are also changing. EA mentions Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez at Cadillac, Arvid Lindblad alongside Liam Lawson at Racing Bulls, and Isack Hadjar with Max Verstappen at Oracle Red Bull Racing.
Cars 2026: the feeling will have to follow

The second highlight concerns the cars’ handling. EA has announced a new generation of single-seaters that are lighter, more compact and more responsive. Obviously, we’ll have to wait for the first in-game feedback to judge the depth of the simulation, but the intention is clear: the 2026 cars should not just have a new look.
The package also introducesactive aerodynamics, with the possibility of adjusting the front and rear wings during a race. On paper, this is the kind of mechanic that can change the reading of a lap, especially if it really influences the balance between top speed and cornering grip.
EA also mentions an Overtake Mode capable of delivering a power gain close to 500 horsepower. Here again, the interesting point will be its integration into racing: if timing really counts, it can add a layer of strategy. If it’s too permissive, it runs the risk of becoming a classic boost button.
MADRING arrives in F1 25

The package also adds MADRING, Madrid’s new circuit. EA describes it as a 5.4 km track, with a mix of fast sections and technical corners. It will be reserved for 2026 cars as part of the package.
This is probably one of the most important additions for regular players. A new grid catches the eye, but a new circuit changes the game’s lifespan even more. If the layout is successful, it may become the real reason to re-launch F1 25 after several seasons.
Things to remember
F1 25: 2026 Season Pack feels like a real transitional expansion rather than a simple content update. Between Audi, Cadillac, 2026 cars, active aerodynamics, Overtake mode and MADRING, EA is looking to sell a complete new season within the existing game.
The caveat remains the same: we’ll have to see how it all performs on the track. The new features are solid on paper, but the real interest will depend on the feel of the cars, the balance of the Overtake Mode and the quality of the Madrid circuit. EA will give more details in a Deep Dive Gameplay scheduled for May 26, 2026.
