It’s not a SimRacing Expo if Thrustmaster isn’t present, as it remains one of the world’s leading simulation equipment manufacturers. The manufacturer presented “refreshes” of its products, with only one addition to its catalog. It has to be said that Thrustmaster had already launched a new entry-level Direct Drive base a few months ago, so it’s time to give its catalog a fresh lick of paint.

To begin with, the only new product on show is a Load Cell kit for the Raceline LTE crankset. The pedalboard was released a while ago, I must admit, and needed a Load Cell version. Thrustmaster took its time on this one, but that’s okay, because the manufacturer is setting up a new ecosystem for racers. This kit will be available in early 2026, and unfortunately, no price has been mentioned.
Next, the Ferrari-licensed SF1000 steering wheel gets the sticker treatment, and even changes its name to SF25. Visually, it’s identical, except for the stickers on the buttons and other controls. However, the QR has been replaced by that of Thrustmaster’s DD bases, so you don’t have to buy a Quick Release adapter. This steering wheel will be available in early 2026 too, for a price of €399, as well as being supplied with T-Chrono Paddles.

Next, it’s the turn of the T818 to get a lick of paint. The “new” base model has been given the name Black Edition, and I have to say, it’s really quite beautiful. Entirely in black, with just the Thrustmaster logo in white, the T818 has nonetheless been revised mechanically, with a reinforced motor for improved reliability. However, the price has changed, but not in a way that will impact your bank account. Indeed, the new T818 Black Edition will see its price drop from €649.99 to €599.99, i.e. €50 less than the current version of the device. Availability will be at the end of the year.
And finally, 2 new bundles that will be delivered with the T818 and Thrustmaster steering wheels. The first will be with The Ferrari 488 GT3 steering wheel and will retail for €899.99, and the second one with the Evo Racing 32R Leather steering wheel for $899.99, base included of course. The only downside here is that the second bundle with the Evo Racing steering wheel is exclusive to the USA. Granted, you’ll still be able to order the base and steering wheel separately, but I think Thrustmaster is missing a great opportunity with this bundle, which won’t be sold in Europe. As far as availability is concerned, the whole thing will be available in early 2026.
