Gran Turismo 7 continues to enhance its immersive racing experience with the latest updates for January 2025. The new 1.55 version will allow you to use new cars with beautiful mechanics and experience new events on the track. You’ll love the gameplay enhancements that push the limits of realism and driving precision ever further.

Discover the four new cars

Gran Turismo 7 has enriched its garage with four new racing cars that will allow you to test your technical skills on the racetrack. Here are your new challenges:

  • Gran Turismo F3500-A: available in “Brand Central” for 1,000,000 credits, this car is inspired by the Formula 1 cars of the 1990s, with a fairly modern, even futuristic finish. This model is suitable for fast, technical racing. The Gran Turismo F3500-A boasts extreme top speed and phenomenal handling despite its light weight.
  • Honda Civic Si Extra (EF) ’87: this car is an icon of 80s tuning and street racing. It’s agile and easy to handle. You can use it for small-displacement racing and technical challenges. It’s available from the “used car dealer” for 61,600 credits.
  • Hyundai IONIQ 5 N ’24: this sporty electric model is supercharged. The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N ’24 features two electric motors (AWD) and a power output of 650 hp in boost mode. With its exceptional grip and lightning acceleration, it has become a benchmark for electric car racing. It is available in “Brand Central” for 85,000 credits.
  • Toyota C-HR S ’18: this compact, hybrid SUV is a strategic choice for endurance racing because of its low energy consumption. The Toyota C-HR S ’18 has 4 cylinders and electric assistance. Power output is 120 hp.

Test yourself on never-before-seen tests

Gran Turismo 7 has also added a new menu for collectors. The “Extra Menu” focuses on Group C cars. So, if you have a Sauber Mercedes C9 ’89, Porsche 962 C ’88 or Mazda 787B ’91 in your garage, you’ll be eligible for a 6-star roulette ticket. This ticket will entitle you to numerous rewards.

You won’t find any new circuits in version 1.55, but three new solo races to stimulate you:

  • The Sunday Cup at Kyoto Driving Park, Miyabi: this race is for beginners to learn the basics of driving. You can use the Honda Civic Si Extra ’87 to practice.
  • The Japanese FF Challenge 450 on Sardegna, Road Track, C: test your car’s responsiveness on this circuit with tight bends and a few straights. Use a small front-wheel-drive Japanese sports car for this challenge.
  • The World Touring Car 600 on the Autódromo de Interlagos: reveal your driving skills on this legendary Formula 1 circuit. Test drive the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N ’24.to tackle banked corners and technical braking.

Enjoy gameplay improvements

Experience the excitement of competition as you take on the artificial intelligence now available on two circuits: Autódromo de Interlagos and Mount Panorama Circuit. You’ll discover a formidable opponent in AI.

The Scape option has also been enhanced with the“Cinematic Drive” feature, which now lets you take dynamic shots of your car. This new feature works like a camera that can follow your car as it moves through various locations. You’ll be able to stage your car just like in an action movie.

Finally, take advantage of the adjustments made to this latest version of Gran Turismo:

  • A more precise braking and cornering system,
  • Improved traction and suspension,
  • Reduced sudden reactions on uneven surfaces.

Get behind the wheel for even more realistic and sensational racing.
