Black Friday has become a tradition in the USA, affecting the whole world for several years now. And Europe is no exception to the rule, especially in the market for electronic products such as smartphones, televisions, computers and so on.
And as with the rest of the market, sim-racing operators are taking advantage of Black Friday to clear out their stock and offer some very tempting discounts on several products. Last week, Simlab got the ball rolling with a 10% discount on a large part of its catalog.
Today, it’s Moza Racing’ s turn to enter the sim-racing race, and we’re going to take a look at what the Chinese manufacturer is offering as a promotion on its range of peripherals.
Moza Racing’s Black Friday offers
As usual, Moza Racing takes a standard approach to its sim-racing offers, with a discount of up to $100 on a selection of products. This may not sound like much compared to Simlab and its 10% discount, but let’s not forget that Moza rarely offers products over €1,000.
R3 bundle on special offer

The MOZA R3 is currently on promotion for Black Friday, with $40 less, dropping from $399 to $359. The reduction represents 10%, and you’ll get a 3.9 nm torque Direct Drive base, a 28 cm diameter flat-bottom steering wheel, an SR-P Lite pedalboard and a clamp for mounting the base on furniture, all while being Xbox and PC compatible.
This base represents Moza’s entry-level for bundles, with very good value for money, especially for the performance delivered. Admittedly, it’s not at the same level as a CSL DD or a Moza R5, but for beginners in sim-racing, it’s the best there is, in my opinion.
Promotional DD basics

After the entry-level R3 on special offer, Moza has jumped straight to the top end of its catalog with the MOZA R16 and the MOZA R21. These two DD bases are simply excellent, providing a very high level of immersion and feedback.
Their design doesn’t really change, the only difference being their size (the R21 is larger than the R16 to accommodate a bigger electric motor). In terms of pricing, the R16 trades in with the Black Friday promotion for $699, and the R21 for $899, instead of $799 and $999 respectively.
Promotional wheels

As far as steering wheels are concerned, we’re better served than the DD bases for Black Friday, and with bundle variants for some of them, which isn’t bad.
The KS, GT steering wheel from Mozacan be purchased for $249 on its own, or bundled with the bundle with the R9 base ($629) or the R12 (729 $).
The RS V2touring steering wheel in forged carbon fiber, costs $399 on its own, $779 with the with the R9 and $879 with the R12.
Visit FSRMoza’s F1 steering wheel is now priced at $599 from $649. The GS V2P now costs $399, ESX for Xbox is $119 and the TSWfor truck is $249. Also, the all-round ESX steering wheel is $69, but without the flat back.
The SR-P crankset on special offer

Not too surprisingly, we find the SR-P on special offer at Moza for Black Friday, with a price of $139 instead of $159. You’ll get a pretty standard two-pedal pedalboard, with Load Cell weighing in at 100 kg, a metal frame and a handsome design.
Promotional QR accessory

And finally, Moza is putting its D1Spec-derived QR on special offer, dropping to $55, so you can quickly swap between your wheels, whether Moza or not, as long as the QR fits the steering wheel of course.
So much for Moza’s Black Friday offers. Please note that these promotions will start on November 21, 2024!
