Assetto Corsa EVO update 0.6 is coming soon, with a host of new features to thrill sim-racers, including the arrival of the Lamborghini Countach LP5000 Quattrovalvole. We’ve been waiting for this 80s monster, and Kunos seems determined to make us sweat behind the wheel. Gone is the watered-down experience: the new physical engine promises to faithfully reproduce its brutality, with its atmospheric 5,167 cm³ V12 and 455 hp. Expect unfiltered power delivery, low torque and a thrust that grabs you by the throat as you approach the red zone. With no power assist, this beast, with its vintage tires and distinctive weight distribution, will require some dexterity. Rear visibility is almost non-existent due to the hump of the carburetors, then the injection system, which doesn’t simplify parking maneuvers in the pits, but that’s also the charm of icons.
The Lamborghini Countach isn’t just a supercar, it’s a cultural manifesto that redefined the very idea of an exotic car, and even today, every supercar owes something to it.

The Ford Mustang GT3 is one of the most radical interpretations of the modern Mustang: it is not an “adapted” derivation, but a car designed from the ground up to race in the global GT3 scenario.

The GT3s are not to be outdone, with the confirmation of the Ferrari 296 GT3 and the Ford Mustang GT3. The Ferrari, with its 608 hp and 712 Nm twin-turbo V6 mid-rear, will require subtle throttle management and a good understanding of the slight turbo lag. In contrast, the Mustang GT3, powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.3-liter Coyote V8, promises a completely different experience. Its non-turbo architecture offers a more linear, predictable response, for those who like to whip up a naturally breathing engine. The Ferrari 288 GTO, already announced, will also be part of this lot, completing the selection of racing cars. Two more vehicles have yet to be unveiled, bringing the total to six.
To put the wheels on these machines, Kunos takes us to Sebring. This American circuit, well known for the 12 Hours of Endurance, is a veritable justice of the peace. Its bumpy concrete slabs, a legacy of its airfield past, will put suspension and FFB to the test. The mix of fast and slow corners, with demanding braking zones and abrasive rope crossings, will demand concentration at all times. Forget billiard tracks, here we’ll have to anticipate mass transfers and how the tires will take the shocks, especially with our GT3s.
This 0.6 update is in line with theEarly Access roadmap, and marks a clear focus on “racing” content, while not forgetting the automotive legends. We can expect a demanding driving experience, where understanding the specifics of each car on a track as technical as Sebring will make all the difference.
