Asetek SimSports is an ultra-premium sim-racing brand, operating in the same segment as Simucube. The target audience for both brands is the pool of drivers with a passion for virtual car racing, as well as professionals in the discipline.

Asetek’s catalog is divided into three ranges: La Prima, Forte and Invicta, for the entry, middle and top end of the market. But since the manufacturer is already in the ultra-premium segment, these products are meticulously crafted and finished to standards that rival those of Rolls-Royce.

The brand has just announced, and put on pre-order, a brand-new steering wheel in the Forte range, aimed at drivers who are fans of single-seaters and motorsport’s premier competition. It’s the Forte Formula Pro, and we’re about to take a look at it.

In terms of design, it’s immediately obvious that this is an Asetek wheel, with the combination of black and orange that only Asetek knows the perfect recipe for. The structure is made of forged carbon fiber, with a host of controls on the faceplate, and a huge screen to display vehicle telemetry and race info.

The steering wheel is on pre-order for €787, with a discount of up to 15% and deliveries due to start in mid-August. For this price, you only get the central module, to which you’ll need to add the handles. Asetek offers 4 with different shapes and diameters, alternating between leather and Suede. Prices start at €90 and go up to €120.
