This week is Amazon’s Prime Days sale, which runs from July 8 to 11. The idea is to offer discounts on many products, but mainly for those with a Prime subscription.

Fanatec, the German sim-racing giant, is doing the same as Amazon, but for very specific peripherals, and until July 18. The German firm is promoting its superb steering wheel, developed in partnership with Bentley for the Continental Pikes Peak GT3, and we’re going to take a closer look.

The different offers on the Bentley GT3 from Fanatec

As I just told you, the Fanatec Podium Bentley GT3 is currently on special offer on the brand’s store. Based on an aluminum frame and green forged carbon fiber faceplate, and also featuring a central round screen, the Bentley GT3 is a sublime GT-style steering wheel that also equips the Continental models from the British prestige brand.

For promotions, Fanatec has opted for 3 different approaches: you have the wheel alone with its QR2 Pro, the wheel and a Podium DD2, and finally a bundle including wheel, base and ClubSport Pedals V3.

In terms of price, the first offer shows a 25% reduction, taking the wheel from €2,000 to €1,500. If you choose the steering wheel and Podium DD2, the reduction is 20%, bringing the price down to €2,800 from €3,500. And if you opt for the complete bundle, the discount rises to 19% for a selling price of €3,100, down from almost €3,830.
