Logitech has given its RS50 base a McLaren-themed makeover. Unveiled at G PLAY 2026, the RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle combines the 8 Nm base, an MCL38-inspired steering wheel, and the pedal set in a single box, priced at €749.99 for the PC version and €849.99 for the PS/PC version. At the same time, the RS Pedals SE brings the price of the RS pedal set down to 119.99 €, offering a lower entry price for those new to the lineup.

RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle: A Complete Package in McLaren Colors

The package includes the 8 Nm Direct Drive RS50 base unit with TRUEFORCE, the RS Wheel Hub, and the RS Formula McLaren Racing Edition steering wheel. The pedal set is an RS Pedals model with a 75 kg load cell brake, featuring two pedals and no clutch as standard, and a clamp allows the entire unit to be mounted on a desk.

The mechanical components remain the same as those of the RS50 unveiled at G PLAY 2025, but the base fins are now papaya-colored and feature the McLaren Formula 1 Team logo. The hub knobs also feature papaya-colored rings instead of the usual blue, and the heel rest on the pedals bears the inscription “WELCOME TO THE GRID.” The 500-gram steering wheel is modeled after that of the McLaren MCL38. On the back are the words of Bruce McLaren, who introduced this papaya color in the 1960s.

On the official Logitech G store, the bundle is currently listed as “coming soon,” with no specific date provided. Logitech is promoting it in conjunction with the Playseat Instinct McLaren Racing Edition cockpit. With a base model launched a year ago and a finish entirely in the team’s colors, the brand is primarily targeting impulse purchases by Formula 1 fans, rather than competitive sim racers who are already well-equipped.

RS Pedals SE: a Hall effect pedal for €119.99

The RS Pedals SE is a more affordable version of the RS Pedals. It uses the same base plate, but its two pedals—the accelerator and brake—are based on a contactless Hall sensor. The classic RS Pedals, on the other hand, feature a 75 kg load cell brake. It can be upgraded with the RS clutch module (less than €40) or, later on, with a load cell brake module, in which case the Hall-effect brake pedal serves as the clutch.

The pedal set connects via USB directly to a PC and works with a compatible Logitech steering wheel on PlayStation or Xbox. Priced at €119.99, it’s already in stock at the official store.

RS50 System and G923: PC-only versions

Logitech is also releasing PC-only versions of two existing products. The RS50 System PC Only (€579.99) includes the RS50 base, the RS Wheel Hub, the RS Round Wheel, and a desk clamp—but no pedal set. The G923 PC (€279.99) remains the 2.3 Nm gear-driven steering wheel that comes with its pedal set. The hardware is the same as on the console versions; the only difference is that it is no longer compatible with PlayStation or Xbox.
