Simagic unveils the Zeus Formula, a 28 Nm Wheelbase and crankset

Sim Racer

E-sport driver & Sim Racing enthusiast, I decided to share my passion on this website.

23 Oct 2025

Following the launch of its new range of Direct Drive bases called “Alpha Evo”, Simagic is continuing its momentum, and taking advantage of SimRacing Expo 2025 to announce new peripherals that will soon be available for purchase.

The Alpha Evo bases fill a gap in Simagic’s range of Direct Drive peripherals. The Evo bases develop 9, 12 and 18 nm of torque, compared with the 10, 15 and 23 nm of torque of the standard Alpha range.

But for SimRacing Expo 2025, Simagic is presenting a new DD base, the Alpha Evo Ultra, with 28 nm max torque, a 21-bit encoder and a design taken from the Evo range. This new base will be Simagic’s most powerful, putting it ahead of the current Fanatec Podium DD2 and also the Moza R25 Ultra Torque.

As for the second announcement, it’s about a new Formula-type steering wheel, which will complete Simagic’s range of wheels. It’s called the Zeus Formula, and I think it’s an evolution of the FX Pro. The Zeus Formula has a rectangular design, typical of Formula, with handles that are closed at the bottom this time. In the center, we still have a screen surrounded by controls. The steering wheel is 28 cm in diameter, with a CNC-machined aluminum structure. Carbon fiber is used for the faceplate, and magnetic paddles are fitted at the rear.

And finally, the3rd product is a crankset called P700. In terms of design, I find it somewhere between the P1000 and P2000. It’s equipped with 2 pedals, with a 150 kg Load Cell this time on the brake, putting it ahead of the P1000. This crankset is highly customizable, in the sense that you can configure it to suit your racing preferences. It’s equipped with a footrest at the front, and pedals that are adjustable in height, spacing, inclination, and resistance of course.

No word yet on the availability of these new Simagic products. True, they’re on display at SimRacing Expo 2025, but the manufacturer wouldn’t say when they’ll be available, or how much they’ll cost. However, my guess is that Simagic will either bring the new equipment to market by the end of the year, or wait until the first quarter of 2026 to make it available. We’ll just have to be patient until they go on sale on the brand’s website, and also at Simagic distributors.
