Since Gamescom 2023, Chinese manufacturer Moza Racing has enjoyed enormous success in sim-racing. Let’s face it: Moza’s products are top-notch in terms of both quality and performance.
Given that the 2023 Gamescom season was a good one for Moza, it’s only natural that we should see this brand again at the 2024 edition of the video game show in Cologne, Germany. This year’s program featured several products announced by Moza, and we’ll take a quick look at them below.
CRP2 pedals

Let’s start with the brand’s new high-end pedalboard, the CRP2. It will most certainly replace the first of the name (CRP1), as it is sold at the same price of €550 for the 3-pedal version.
Basically, the CRP1 is a good sim-racing product, but it has its shortcomings, including settings that are difficult to fine-tune and rough reliability. The CRP2 attempts to correct this thanks to rider feedback, and features adjustable pedals, an aluminum frame and a sprinkling of carbon fiber.
The LC remains broadly the same, with 200 kg of force, while being fully parameterizable via PitHouse.
The ESX steering wheel for Xbox and Porsche collaboration

Given the success of Moza’s R3 bundle on Xbox, the brand was bound to continue its momentum with Microsoft’s console. The first addition to the Xbox-specific range is the brand-new ESX wheel. In fact, it’s the same wheel as the R3 bundle, but available as a standalone unit.
If you already have an idea of the R3, the ESX wheel will be familiar to you. It’s 28 cm in diameter, with an aluminum frame and leather trim all around. In terms of controls, there are 22 in all, with a RevLED. The price is €160, which isn’t bad at all.
We have also confirmed that Moza is working with Porsche on a new sim-racing steering wheel.

Multi-function Stalks commodo

It’s an add-on to Moza’s steering wheels, especially for virtual truckers, that gives you turn signals, cruise control and windshield wipers, all for €180. It’s a practical way of pushing immersion to the max.
The MA3X joystick

A rather budget-friendly version of the MH16, the MA3X is a joystick designed for virtual pilots on civil aircraft and small cuckoos. The design is sober, with far fewer controls than its big brother, while still being compatible with the AB9 base. Price: €90. Who can beat that?
The mBooster Active Pedal

Following in the footsteps of Simucube and its Active Pedals, Moza offers a less expensive and more customizable alternative. The mBooster is a system that simulates the feel of brake, gas pedal or clutch pedals. It will be compatible with the new CRP2 pedal unit as an add-on, and will hopefully be available very soon.
