Ascher Racing is a manufacturer of sim-racing peripherals that targets the steering wheel market. The brand offers several in its catalog, including some developed in partnership with McLaren. Ascher also offers bundles that come with its steering wheels, and Simucube bases for a complete, turnkey setup.
During the SimRacing Expo 2025, the manufacturer presented a new piece of equipment that is already part of its catalog. It’s called the AR8 dashboard, and it joins its smaller 4″ and 5″ brothers. As its name suggests, the AR8 is 8” diagonal, LED technology and 1200 x 400 px resolution. The panel is 16-bit, and boasts up to 350 lumens of brightness, which is respectable for the segment, especially given that such a product will be used exclusively indoors. Also around the screen are 26 RGB LEDs for RevLED, displaying up to 16 million different colors.

At the rear, the ignition button and a USB-C connection with high bandwidth ensure a highly responsive dashboard, displaying telemetry data retrieved from the sim-racing title, while also being compatible with SimHub.
This new addition to the Ascher catalog is already available for €499.
